I've been a huge fan of the Perky Pet Oasis saucer feeder, which is so easy to clean, plus, my hummers love it. I had purchased a First Nature feeder, also from Walmart, 2 years ago, on clearance, for just over a dollar. I had never used it, until a coworker said that his hummers love it, so out mine went this year. Sure enough, they like that one too, and it's just as easy to clean. I went out and purchased 2 more ;) I don't know how much info you've been given, and don't want to nag, but the feeder needs to be cleaned & the sugar water changed quite often. I generally do it twice a week. I don't wash the feeder with soap; I initially hose it off, then bring it inside and rinse it thoroughly with extremely hot water and wipe it down with a paper towel then rinse again. I occasionally use a mild bleach solution with the extreme hot water and soak the removable flowers (if applicable), and also use this on the feeders as well. A neighbor has a feeder out, and came over to me for advice about why she doesn't get hummers at her feeder. I asked her if she changed the sugar water and cleaned the feeder. She said "no" to both. Sigh...

Sure sounds like typical racoon folly to me! Just wait: they will soon begin rearranging the furniture on the deck.

Looked at your album and your garden is totally delightful! I love your decor, the bird cages, swans, roses, swings, ponds, flamingos, and absolutely everything else!!! Q: What is the plant in photo #25 with the bumblebee. I looks like some sort of shrimp plant, or maybe a blooming oregano. Thank you for letting us look. Funny thing though -- when I copied and pasted the last link you gave it took me to my album on Photobucket ... LOL! I got to your album from the first link with the hummingbird video and looking at upper right hand corner like you said.
