Please help identify this mystery plant

This came up last year in a clump, and I thought I might have planted it though I couldn't remember. This year it has spread all over the garden, coming up everywhere. I've been unable to identify it.

It's an orchid, Helleborine, Epipactis helleborine. Not native. From Europe, just showed up in upstate New York a century or so ago, been increasing its range ever since.

Hibiscus moscheutos is a native plant and is distributed throughout the Eastern part of the US all the way down to the gulf coast according to the USDA website.They all are easily grown from seeds or cuttings and very long lived in the garden. Ken, that Hibiscus is very pretty, but the tummy is prettier. :-) I have one Hibiscus just like yours in the photo, but this one is slightly pinker.

It's definitely a Physalis species. Is it a weed y'all found growing somewhere, or is it something someone purposefully planted? If a weed, it's probably Physalis pubescens var. integrifolia. If that's not it, search under "Physalis" for pictures. There are numerous types grown for food including tomatillos and ground cherries.

Thank you! Do you know how invasive it is? Am I going to regret it if I let it stay? The garden is in shade for most of the day.

Invasive yes, but on the same level as cursed swallow wort or phragmites? No. I see it in woodland settings here in Western NY but not overly much.
