Dawn, I am a righty. I don't think it would matter with a rectanglesink, you could place them whereever you wanted. We had to place the faucet, control and side spray to the right since there was more room between the sink and the backsplash also tried to minimise that the sink was not centered exactly on the center of the window. So get a piece of plywood - trace your sink profile and cut holes for the faucet etc in it for placement and put it where your sink will be-and set the pieces in it to see if you like it- thats what we did. I love having one control lever instead of two knobs. Also I like not having to twist a faucet handle- now I have arthritis in both thumbs and this is way easier. Something we didn't count on just a year ago! Thanks for the compliment on the kitchen, I am very proud of DH, he did it all with the exception of installing the granite. we bought the cabs. Curious what you did for the filtered water at the bar and if you are happy with it. Debating a separate filtered tap, one of the few faucets I can find that do hot/cold/filtered in one tap or I see there are some under counter filters that can filter for a regular full flow tap. In my kitchen I have filtered insinkerator instant hot/cold taps but I don’t need the instant hot at this location and with a small sink want to avoid faucet clutter.

@aniakrystyna if you want a traditional look in a faucet, but hesitating about a bridge style, I suggest the Kohler Artifacts kitchen faucet. It is a traditional look, but with the convenience and functionality of a single-hole, single-handle faucet. I have it in polished chrome, and really like it. It comes in other finishes. Its spray function has 3 settings - regular spray, berry spray (gentle, for berries and other delicate foods), and sweep spray which is a fan shape to spray down a dish in one motion. I have the one in the first pic (K-99259), but I also really like the model in the second pic (K-99260):

Here is my instant hot/filtered cold setup. On the ther side I have a soap dispenser. I added his after the fact in a tweaking of my kitchen (now I am planning a total redo moving the kitchen). I had the hole added to the granite later so I echoed be placement of the existing soap dispenser. It works well as you can get a cup of tea or filtered water while someone else uses the main faucet. The faucet is a Moen Arbor Motionsense which I love (other than than at the handle has come loose a bit they sent a free replacement kit of some sort which I need to fix so far just had my husband tighten it but it worked loose again). I will move both faucets to my new kitchen. I think I will put the hot/filtered at the prep sink in the new as the location makes more sense for tea/water although I also like to use the hot in some cleanup uses
