Should I repaint?

Help! My painter just finished the 1st coat of paint on my new house. I love love love the color on the walls. Problem is when I uncovered the tile I am worried that the paint color makes the tile look yellow. The tile is a beige porcelain but next to this paint it looks more yellowy.

There is no light or furniture in the house so I don't know how it will look once we have the house put together.

He is due to come back in a few weeks and paint the 2nd coat once most of the other work is done. Do I have him paint a different color on top of this then or just live with this for a year and repaint if I still hate it? I don't want to go to the expense of repainting BUT it would be so much easier to do it now then after we move in. I am so annoyed because I hired a designer to go over all of my paint selections before we finalized and she never said anything!!

I painted a sample on the wall and held the tile next to it and it all looked okay. Should I take some pictures?

I got in to take some pictures today . The paint looks very purple to me in the photos though when I was at the house it looked okay to me.

The entire 1st floor has this tile and this paint.

This is the guest bath. For some reason it looks different to me in there. It is hard because there is no light coming in that bathroom and the flash distorts things. This is a close up where the shower wall tile hits the painted wall.

The tile looks creamy. What color is it supposed to be?

Paint the cabinets the same gray as the tub tile to start so that all at lower level is the same color. I am suggesting on what I see on my monitor: Walls: B.M. November Rain Ceiling: B.M Exhale Remove the curtains.

Before repainting anything, get your fixed elements in place because paint matches those and not the other way around. Paint comes in almost infinite colours; counters and flooring, not so much. Often recommended here that cabinets and trim match. As for wall colour flashing violet or whatnot, difficult to confirm on a screen or monitor because devices can't all be trusted to render colours accurately. Trust your eyes because you're living in the actual space.

Yes, Mary Elizabeth, it was Benjamin Moore Hale Navy. The guy who painted them swears he used Hale Navy mixed by a Benjamin Moore dealer. In fact he specified that I should use BM paint because that's all he uses. It's a mystery to me, and I was expecting darker for sure. The BM "soot" is the color used on the darker chair and it looks like an exact match to the Hale Navy sample chip. My only thought was that since the paint has a high sheen it looks lighter maybe? Online images of Hale Navy vary from very dark to about what I have. Thanks for weighing in.

Looks like this may have been the designated man cave for the previous owners. I love it, but my bedroom is a dark charcoal with bronze drapes. So cozy and snuggly to me. My first home when married had black and white tile and was furnished with antiques and Persian rugs. A great floor for formal taste, but maybe not for you. Hide it under a huge rug. Perhaps start with painting the shelves white. If that isn't enough, paint the wall behind them white and see what that does for you. Simplify them with 1/3 books (standing, leaning, supporting other items,) 1/3 large decor items and 1/3 open space. Add colorful art that you love above the FP and in place of the clock. Brighten with colorful pillows that pick up colors from the art. If you have a green thumb, add some green plants; they always bring life to a space.

The tile is looking goldish to me. I love the paint color but I think you're going to need a warmer tone here with this tile. Maybe Grant Beige or Bleeker Beige by Benjamin Moore?
