Need decor suggestions for this small dining room
Comments (10)You need a good 45 inches from the edge of the table to have enough room for the chair and the diner and room to pull out the chair. Add some more if your think your guests would ever be heavy or pregnant. I am not sure you have the space for that on the wall under the mirror or the one opposite. I can't tell on the wall perpendicular. A clock is not at all a good thing to hang in a dining room. Do you want your diners to worry about the time or to feel rushed? The big black mirror is not that attractive and not appropriate for a dining area. Please look for artwork for the dining area. You could get a starburst mirror for one of the walls. Also, please consider getting cushions for the seats of the dining room chairs in a color or print that coordinates with your artwork. I have a suspicion that on a hot day, those seats will uncomfortably stick to the back of the legs of someone wearing a short dress or shorts. Whether or not you stain the dining room table really depends upon the decor in the adjoining room. Do you have a light source in that dining area? If not, consider getting a plug in chandelier....See MoreShutter color and porch decor help needed!
Comments (5)Agree that black would be a much better color for your shutters and front door. Having a walkway coming to the front door from the front, as Patricia mentions, is a great way to open up your front to make it much more welcoming than the semi circle planting space you have now. ^The black looks elegant against the tan/beige/yellow siding. ^The wide front walkway opens up the entire front of the house and makes it much more appealing/welcoming IMO. You can have the skinny walkway you have now as an entrance from the driveway, but adding that new walkway will amp up your curb appeal tremendously....See Moreneed suggestion for decorating
Comments (2)The absence of color makes this otherwise nice space a rather sad one. You have lots of wall room - let yourself go and pick large pieces of wall art that you really love, not what's popular or trendy, but what truly reflects you. A larger and more colorful rug, more colorful pillows and the aforementioned wall art, and it will be a different place....See MoreHelp please!! Bought a house and I need suggestions for decor.
Comments (1)Sharing pics of chairs I am thinking to match with sofa. Will they look good with navy blue color sofa?...See MoreRelated Professionals
