It is aggressive as ken seems to suggest, but it can be a great plant and the hummingbirds love it. It has a long bloom time too. Just research carefully where you want to put it ... the same as you would do for any plant!

Are you sure it's a vine? It almost looks like a shrub from the photos. If it is a vine, hops have similarly shaped leaves, but it's not one I've grown so I am not sure if yours is hops.
