I have an opportunity in my kitchen to have a countertop as deep as 34 inches. I plan to have a counter-sitting "cantry" about 6 inches deep on this countertop (basically just open shelves for my pretty home-canned items). That would make my cantry about 28 inches away from the edge of the countertop if I went for the full depth possible. How deep is too deep?
