For those of you growing citrus trees in pot because it gets to cold , your growing season is about 2 weeks past the halfway point of summer growing.

For those of you with in-ground trees we are about the middle of growing season. The potted citrus groups bring warm plant in warm soil out to get long days and fast growth. There is no soil warm up time in the spring.

For those of you with in-ground trees it takes time for the cold soil to warm up. This skews the summer by 2-3 weeks later.

My point is if you need to get prepared for winter (greenhouse cold frame, lighting setup) you need to start now so you are prepared when frost come.

I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANY WHINING OR BELLY AKING WHEN TO FROST HITS THE GROUND.

OK lets get to it

Steve

PS now where did my table saw go?
