Cedar Hill Texas, South of Dallas Texas, Zone 8a. Found this growing behind my Salvia Gregori. Its about 4 feet tall, Stems are firm similar to new growth on my Salvia but not hard / woody like a tree, It has not bloomed yet so I cannot tell you the bloom color. Plant is leggy and multi stemed from a central ball, Again like the Salvia Gregori. The garden is well established (over 5 years) and this is the first year it has appeared. I have a healthy population of birds hanging out around these bushes and my feeders, which contain black oil sunflower, sunflower chips, shelled peanuts, safflower and striped sunflower. HummingBirds, Sparrows Finches, Cardinals, and Mockingbirds
