Kindey Beans Sprouting in Growing Pods

avalokitesvara

I planted some Rajama India Pink kidney beans back in April. The pods have filled out nicely and the plants look pretty healthy. Some of the pods are starting to turn yellow, others are still green. I picked a few of the pods to see how the beans were shaping up and I noticed that there are quite a few beans that have started sprouting inside the growing pods. We've been getting a fair amount of rain this season (Thunderstorms about every other day or so) and I'm worried that the wet weather is keeping the beans from drying and that they will all start to sprout. Can I pull up the plants and hang them in a dry place to let them dry out naturally or can I pick the yellowing pods and leave them intact to dry in a single layer? Many thanks in advance!
