Wolf 48" dual fuel or all gas??
Comments (11)^Nobody here understands either. They have been selling this faulty enamel for years in both dual fuel ranges and wallovens. The interiors have cracked even on ovens where the owner did not use the self clean cycle. The dual fuel range that intrigues me most is the Capital Connoisseurian because of the powerful open burners but there is very little feedback on that yet. I don't have any recommendations for other dual fuel ranges due to extremely mixed feedback. Comments (7)i was facing a similar dilemma not too long ago myself. more specifically i wondered if i were missing an opportunity at implementing more updated appliances in terms of power. my original plan was to use the larger, 60" range but i decided to move down to the 48" and add a speed cook oven. though not installed yet, i'm happy i explored every option and considered adding some new technology to my kitchen. the more i read about it the more excited i am about my turbo chef oven. it's all about the options at this stage of the game and they are seemingly endless. my plan was already drawn up when i decided to add another major appliance so rather than change the perimeter (similar to yours in symmetrical feel with the two windows) i had room in the island so moved some things around in there to incorporate it. i already know it will be a very useful after thought. so, my suggestion would be add a couple of pull outs for baking pans on that wall and use the saved $$ on the range to consider adding more updated technology to your kitchen. just wanted to throw that out at you in case you weren't already overwhelmed! good luck!...See MoreWolf 48 inch dual fuel range- should I splurge?
Comments (24)I really like the Wolf range but never even looked at ranges at all before this week because of price/oven issue. However, that was before I found this deal which put it in my upper price range. So I'm trying to research the range and look at it realistically vs getting swayed just by the price. If I didn't get the range, I would be buying the Kenmore double convection oven with Wolf 5 burner gas cooktop. Not sure if Wolf range ovens would be better or not. I do LOVE the cooktop part of the range and the "wow" factor however just concerned with oven heights. However, I would have the steam oven at perfect level above the warming drawer so that may offset the lower ovens on range. I live in southern TN. Not that I want this to influence my decision, but houses in my neighborhood (range from 500k-3 Million) do have majority high end appliances. So even though we don't plan on selling , I believe the Wolf range would fit the house better... However, for me personally, I would be happy with both scenarios. Thanks for all the help/input!!...See Morenosoccermom
