Do you all Know something that I don't????? I figured as many Lawn-Boy fan's there are here that I would git some useful advise on my purchase, however I have been severely disappointed. I know that I do not post much, but I check the forum daily, and thought some of you may have some useful comments on the New Lawn-Boys. Does anyone else have one????? I know that the model# stumped some of you, but there is a whole line up of new model LB's. Anyone have one???? What is your opinion???? I have used the new LB a couple of times and have been impressed with its performance, and power!!!! I know its not an old 2 stroke, but it does very well!!!!! In fact I prefer the 4 stroke engine over the ol 2 strokes. Now before I start a war here, I will tel everyone that I have used the old Lawn-Boy's. Growing up I had a choice between a 1971 LB 5004 and a similar vintage Tom-Boy, with an old Briggs 4 stroke, and perfered the Tom-boy almost 2 to 1. Then as I got older my grandfather purchased a Gold series LB(I am not sure of the model #, but it does not have the Dura-Force engine) While my father bought a new White, again with the Briggs and same results White 2 to 1 over the LB. So what is your all opinion????

I hate to say it, but both are pretty, HIGHLY hyped trees, that are not especially good choices for most areas. I would dig up the Paulownia (Empress tree) and get something else to give you shade in the back. I would probably enjoy the pear tree for this spring, and then think about replacing it, before it starts to produce lots of little pears for the birds to scatter far and wide. Since we don't know where you are, it's hard to make suggestions for substitutes. Let us know where you are located, and what the soil is like, as well as how much sun the area gets, and you will get suggestions to replace either or both. If you are far north or west, then both trees may not be too much of a problem, as conditions for spreading are not favorable, but....

It's pouting, but not dead. It will now need some shade and water to get through the trauma of the move. Can you build a little shelter over it? Yes, it would have been better to wait until the fall, but what's done is done. Don't worry too much. In an emergency situation, I once had to move peonies in the spring and they did fine. A friend told me to put a chair over them (they were small) to give them some shade during their recovery period. Make sure you didn't replant them too deeply (the eyes no more than 2" deep). Sometimes they just take a couple of years to bloom. Patience. They're worth the wait. Enjoy! Judye

If concrete, maybe you can put an over glaze on it to tone it more grey and cut the green. You can also lay wood look luxury vinyl wide plank over the concrete just in the kitchen area and use a transition strip between that and the rest of the concrete. Does very well in kitchens as it's very water resistant. Holds up better than real wood. I like one surface running throughout though. Use some blingy stainless long bar handles on the cabinets to brighten up all the dark.
