Homemade watering wand

joncongaroo

I was tired of poor quality, short lived watering wands. So I made my own using a replaceable lever action nozzle and pvc pipe and fittings. The pipe and fittings were less than $12 at the Big box store. The lever action front threaded nozzles last up to a year of daily use and run between $5 and $10. This wand will last for years if not thrown around or run over by a car. You can position the nozzle to any angle using the swivel fitting.

Prior to assembly

The best cement

Assembled with the nozzle positioned for watering at ground level

Nozzle positioned for hanging baskets or planters
