Kate, I don't know the other two--found Lime Sublime (pretty rose!) at HMF, but could not find Lemon Sprite there. From what HMF says (and doesn't say), I would guess the main difference is between Elina being a hybrid tea that grows more vertically and has big fat blooms 5-6 in. across, and Lime Sublime being a floribunda that is wider/rounder, has blooms about half the size of Elina but has lots of blooms, and reblooms very well. Can't say how well Elina re-blooms since I got mine less than a year ago. Even as a young plant, I don't remember it blooming more or less than other roses. I think on the score of re-blooming that Lime Sublime probably does better since HMF kinda brags on it. As for disease-resistance, I would guess Elina is better. It is fairly well known for good disease-resistance, and if really good disease-resistance were a trait of Lime Sublime, I would think they would be mentioning that as one of its strong points. HMF doesn't mention it--so I take that to mean it is just average at best. So, what does your garden need? Big fat blooms or much smaller but more plentiful blooms? I went for big fat blooms last year because I suddenly realized that was something decidedly lacking in my garden. Check and see if Lemon Sprite is a hybrid tea or floribunda. That at least will tell you something about its overall shape. If fragrance is important to you, you might check that on all three. If nothing else helps you decide, you might post another thread asking which one of the three is best and then watch posters duke it out for their favorite. LOL Kate

I still ADORE the look of French Lace, but for now I settled on Snowbird :) I can deal with the thorns fairly well, if I have a location that me and the dogs don't need to walk through...although, those places can be hard to find!! Out of Yesteryear is the one that jumps to mind when I think of terrible thorns, but the blooms save it from the shovel-prune list. Beautiful Pic HoovB!!! I canb deal with it, but if I can avoid it, I do :) Lesley, I'm going to have to look into Genvierre...I really like the old fashioned looking blooms that some of the moderns have. I think it comes from my OGR preference, but there's quite a few moderns that catch my eye too. I always enjoy everyone's pics, they're my fixes any time of the year:) Sequoia Ballet is going to be a large rose as a grandiflora, I've seen the mother plant and I'm convinced would do well in a less hot environment than I have. I can have too many months in the 100's. I've had to move it 3 times now. It's going to be transplanted into an area with about 4 hours+ of so of sun now. I had it on the fence in full out sun last summer, and it flourished until we hit the 100's. I had to dig it up or loose it. I transplanted it into a pot and put it in the shade of the north side of the house for the rest of the summer. It came back unbelievably and that's where this rose came from. I'd hate to loose it, I really like it. Orchid Jubilee I believe is at Nor'East with the rest of Mr. Moore's collection. I got that 4/07 and am growing it as a climber, it'd be just as happy sprawling out somewhere with a lot of room. I try to tie it up and when I'm not looking it has a bunch of new growth springing out all over the place. I grow it in full sun and it loves it. Bright cheerful almost non stop blooms as long as you water it. I have to hand water in it's location, sometimes I forget. pics are Oct. I had just tied it up and it grew more so I had to tie it up again in Nov. Last pic is from then. Yes, sorry, mini bush or train as climber.It has some canes reaching 6' now and the bush is about 5' wide. This is one of my favorite roses, LOL* for those who know:) BTW I noted the first fall from 4/07 to 12/07 dimensions on the bush at that time was 32"Tx36"W. end of season. It started as a 6" plant. Wow, what beauties they are.I love that PAINTED MOON.And PARADISE is real pretty too. I lost mine last year, after I had it for over 30 yrs..That PEER GYNT is very pretty, too,have never heard of it before.POP WARNER is a dream.It looks a lot like MOONSTONE, my favorite rose. PURE POETRY is really a pretty one, too..Some of my roses are leaving out now,and others are slower and just has some swollen nodes on them, getting ready to leave out. Jean
