All the rain makes for a lot of reading and puzzle doing.

The PeeGee Hydrangea keeps growing and growing. All this rain is making it grow more than putting out some blooms. I cut it back every year due to its placement near the drive. Usually I have some blooms by now!

We have had nothing but wind and rain for the last several days. I haven't had my camera outside all week. Here is 'my' frog last week--not the greatest pic!

Easter Egger Chicks - this is a hatch from last year. We've had a lot of rain and family obligations so haven't been out with the camera lately.

Our iris bed 10 years ago, before the drought, before the pocket gopher...and yesterday...after we spent 12 hrs on it(dug out 6" of soil, hauled in 3-way, divided iris/cut the tops off.

Japan, shoes off! Wear slippers inside.

While not super-comfortable, the beds were certainly better than some sofas I've slept on! A person sleeps under the comforters shown. Buckwheat pillows.

Just got back from our son's in KY, this is granddog Gabi,resting in the kitchen.

Kanooka, that fawn is just adorable. The mother of course was probably off eating all your vegetation at the time.

Yes, she was busy doing some "pruning" for us.....lol....the fawn was gone 2 hr. later......I was sure glad to get the pics that I did.....
