If you add your apostrophes and quotes right in your exchange page, they should come out fine in the forum. If you copy and paste your trade list from MSWord with any symbols or characters other than alpha letters, they appear as funky symbols in the forum. If you use ' ; : + " in the exchange page, that's how they'll look when you submit your changes. Those same symbols copied over from MS Word will look odd. I don't know the techie term for it but I think it has something to do with the symbol font style not translating from one to the other.

I have not been able to change "my page" since, 2001 - I think. I've a misspelling of no consequence but I cannot change it. Sometimes, some places, when you cannot find a 'send' or 'save' or whatever, slowly, repeatedly, depress tab and watch the screen carefully. You can sometimes see a vague outline of where the button is supposed to be. Won't always work.

Like everyone else, I love buttons...... In another life - I was the Notions and trim buyer for the large Fabric store where I was the manager. The owners used to buy the buildings that huge grocery stores had been in - just to give you an idea of the size of the stores - 1971-the beginning of the superstores except these stores were privately owned. Back to buttons. I was the "buyer" for 5 stores - Buttons were my favorite- sitting down with Mfr reps & picking out individual styles & lines of buttons~I was in heaven, but too young to recognize it ~LOL~ So yes, I love buttons...... Recently, I saw watch bands made of buttons - they were beautiful. Good-fun activity for kids - small and quick project. Enjoy your button stash - great purchase your parents made :)
