I have 2 rhode Island reds and 3 red star sexlinks. Sweet girls. I have a chicken tractor my hubby made me. Here is some pics of chicken tractors. www.thecitychicken.com. It is easy and with a chicken tractor, when the floor is dirty and the grass is ate, we move them. We have them get into their coop, shut the door and move the tractor. We don't move them when they are in the run so they don't get hurt feet. Protects them and allows them to be free range eating fresh grass, taking dirt baths (which they love) and They eat the weeds, seeds, grass and fertilize the lawn. Poop in the coop goes in my compost. My chicken tractor is bigger than alot of those on the website. It is really fun and healthier since they are free range. We put ours on organic chicken food pellets. It is double the price, but i am assured there is no pesticides in their feed which will make me more comfortable about eating their eggs. Dawn I haven't found it anywhere around here yet. The Tractor Supply store has the others you mentioned but I never found Urban Farm unless it sold out quickly. I looked again today but was in a hurry. Saw the others again. I don't go to the Wally World in Guymon unless it is an absolute necessity. Maybe 4-5 times a year. And when I do it is usually for gardening supplies and I'm in a hurry. I will be in Garden City in a few weeks so will do some looking there. I emailed them asking about a subscription last summer and the lady said as of then they were selling subscriptions. Jay

Lil' update- Yes, I am suspecting more than one culprit. As of today there may only be one. This am my neighbor found a LARGE feral cat in a leg trap(yes, leg traps are used widely out here- I don't like them, but other's use them). That cat will not be killing any more of anything. (now don't get pissy with me- It wasn't my home where this was caught- I might have tried to save the cat, but there isn't anywhere that would take a feral here.....no Humane Society or rescue, etc). As soon as I can get some muscle help, will lift the coop with the tractor and see 'what' might be living under it. (if it is a rattler it WILL say Hello to a 22g). One down, one to go....
