Sorry, Lindsey, I don't know either.. had a bit of a trawl through loads of Pernetiana pix, and couldn't see any that looked much like your rose - the relatively low petal count and slight frilliness... could it be a more modern rose?

As there hasn't been much response, it might help if you could give us some more information to go on - once only or repeated flowering, scent description if any, any clues you have re when it may have been originally planted, your approximate location, height and width of the whole plant, size of fully-opened flowers, does it blackspot and/or mildew much; PLUS a few more photos showing close ups of the canes and thorns, colour of new foliage, a full leaf set, flowers at different stages from tight bud through to over-blown, hips if any (probably too early for that, but if you can remember from last year?), and one of the whole plant, from a bit further away, to get an idea of its habit.

Maybe all that will ring a bell for someone.

It smells rather like Persian Yellow to the best of my recollection. My Persian Yellow died four or five years ago--nothing in that category (Hemispherica, Austrian Copper, Austrian Yellow, and Persian Yellow) did well for me.

It does repeat, forms hips (in fact, I have two seedlings this spring, although I think one is them is likely to die), is capable of growing rather large, and is prone to Blackspot. Leaves remind me a bit of the leaves of Persian Yellow and others in that class, except that they are larger and shiny. Doesn't seem affected by cold winters either.

What is looks like to me is Autumn Sunset.

Autumn Sunset has colors and blooms a lot like your rose where I've seen it grow in Asheville NC

The appearance is certainly similar. Does Autumn Sunset have that strange, half-pleasing orange scent reminiscent of Persian Yellow?
