Subway tile makers w/bullnose options?
Comments (4)We are getting our tile from McIntyre and it has bullnose edge subway tiles like the photo you showed. They are custom so made to order and based in Healdsburg, CA. They have a range of colors, including white. Cost ~$17-20 sq ft. http://www.mcintyre-tile.com/ I don't love their website. We found their tile in a brick and mortar store here in Seattle....See MoreAnyone know of white subway tile in two sizes with matching trim?
Comments (13)That's a nice shower. I believe we used a 2x4 accent in our 4x8 shower because the tile walls wrapped around and we wanted the smaller tile for the vanity backslash. I know you said it's not enough of a size difference for you but this is what it looks like. I wanted to use a pencil tile between the 2 different sizes but DH didn't want to because of pooling water, difficulty using the squeegee to wipe down the walls, etc. I really like the way it turned out and the clean lines!...See MoreNeed Subway Tile That Has A Wide Variety Of Trim Pieces
Comments (12)Hi Michael, I'm on the same hunt at the moment (albeit for 3x6 field). You might also check out Vermeere Ceramics, they have a very wide variety of trims (including things like crown molding and lots of different chair rail and listello) and are made in the US. Just got some Vermeere samples via completetile.com in NY and both tiles and service seem quite nice, with a lovely selection of other colors beside a few whites/creams. I'm finding it very difficult to calculate the total cost of different lines, given the idiosyncrasies of ordering, who the middlemen dealers are, shipping cost, etc -- I'm finding between $10 - $30sft, is it a similar experience for you? DalTile and American Olean are a great reasonable alternative although I was hoping to find something flatter with a bigger trim profile selection that isn't quite as expensive as Heath, for instance. @Jane/Lee Callewaert I really appreciate the Adex Neri suggestion and will look to see if I can find those locally!...See MoreSubway tile brand w/ decorative trim options
Comments (1)Adex Neri. We are very particular about trim for most all our applications. Have consistently used Adex, Neri both for quality and the availability of the many finsihing options for a custom, timeless aesthetic. There are others of course, particularly if you want to get into the hand made tile options....See Morejerzeegirl (FL zone 9B)
