avalon2007 I could send cuttings from a mini bouquet old time rose that is very fragrant & easy to grow would you be interested in a trade for the seeds?....It may not grow in my zone but I am willing to give it a try. Just let me know.

IN the groups of birds, there were some that were similar to the Robins, dark gray, yellow beak and eye, but clearly no reddish orange breast coloring. They quickly moved away from my yard (still covered with a lot of snow and water) to another farther down that had more open grass and soil. The Northern Mockingbirds are too light gray, and I didn't see any white whits markings, though I could have easily missed them due to the distance. The Cedar Waxwings are a wishful possibility, but again, the birds I saw were of a uniformly dark color. Also, there are no berries around here. They were all gobbled up quickly in fall, and any drupes left on some trees were chased down by the squirrels on their high-wire act. The squirrels even go into my yews and eat all the little red berries. The birds I saw were clearly pecking and digging in the ground to find food. Today is colder and windy, and there aren't as many birds around

I have a friend that lives in MI. He's forever sending me pictures of leucistic birds. Once he sent me a photo of a squirrel that had leucism. Any animal with leucism has eyes with color, whereas an albino bird will have eyes that are red or pink. The feet will also be pinkish in the albino bird or other animal, however the leucistic bird or animal will have color to their feet. Leucism can affect the whole animal. There's a photo out there of a peacock that's entirely white. I saw it on another site listed as an albino peacock. It wasn't, because it had dark eyes and I can't remember how it's feet were, regular for a peacock I suppose. Since the eyes and feet weren't right for an albino, it was leucistic. Cool, huh? :)

Yes..i have to agree, i run an emergency Centre for kittens and puppies..i have read afew of all these comments from diferent people....i have to say their seems to be alot of confusing crap on here!..i am guessing people look up answers on google and then pass on the onfo'...in rather a rude and aggressive way especially Michelle phxaz...who do u guys think you are?..!..bluscorpianfly i would advise you to look on the British RSPCA sites, loads of good forums around this sites ..https://www.rspca.org.uk/... Unfortunately most forums are full of conflicting info' ...aggressive activists "please sterlise yourcat"..!...who do these people think they are?..how rude...!!. If you give advice be honest and try to help, not use these sites 2 insult and push your personal views!.. Spaying or sterilization is a choice, it must be made for the right reason based on your aniamals health and the owners situation..and the obvious responsibility we all have as pet owners or workers not to add to a sadly massively growing problem with kittens,stray cats and puppies born in the street or being abandoned..other than that..if you want to let your cat have kitten's please do so,its an amazing experience for her ' and 4 you..(try to find homes well in advance of the births to have time to find good homes for them..personally i force people to come to the center minimum 3 times to see their new kitten to spend some time getting to know each other and most people chuck a collar on two...like this i know peopel really want their animal...not just 4 bloody Christmas! .if u see what i mean.. Ooooh...i have to go as one of my rescues is having her last litter safely in the warm under my roof right now!...and then she will he sterlised!....
