I've ordered Plumerias online or by phone, to be shipped MANY times. My personal favorites are; Jungle Jacks, Bradsbudsnblooms, Teas( sadly, they are no longer in business)Matt at one stop aloha on Ebay, and Maui Gardens. Maui Gardens prices are steep, rarely order from them anymore. JJ sends the largest, healthiest plants of any of them, but shipping is high if you have them shipped in pot but in my opinion, worth the price. You get a small tree, not a cutting. The only downside is John is busy and you will often have to wait to find out about availability, and get your order squared away. Better to call him than email him. BBnB has a lot of varieties and they are very nice to work with. Their rooted cuttings are large and often multi tipped, just make sure you call or email them first, tell them what you want and ask how many tips, size, etc. If you do that, they are great. Matt's plants are usually small, but they are very healthy and I have never lost one. He always describes how many tips, and height and you can get good deals from him on Ebay if you don't get into a bidding war early and wait until near the end of the auctions to bid. He's also very nice to deal with. Florida Colors I will buy cuttings but not rooted plants because they graft EVERYTHING that is rooted, why I don't know because it's easy to root most Plumerias in FL. I don't care for grafted unless it's absolutely necessary and can never figure out why they don't just root them.

Thanks to all who responded to my post. I've been about every route with my mother's estate. With Craig's List I usually end up waiting for people that never show up. I don't live close enough to any large population centers to make it worth the trip for anyone interested in just one thing. I had one woman leave an angry message on my answering machine "I drove for two hours and I still didn't reach your town!" I have contacted estate liquidators and the consensus of opinion is that unless I have very high-end antiques (you know - Ming vases and Duncan Phyfe furniture) it would cost me more to pay them to do a sale than I could make from the sale. Most of the dealers here in upstate New York only want the very finest antiques and collectibles. Consignment shops won't take anything either because they are not selling very much right now. Everyone is griping about how bad the antiques market is. I guess I just hit it at the worst possible time. I know my mom bought most of her things, like Depression glass, in the 1970's when it was a hot item and expensive. Now you can't give it away. A few weeks ago I saw a Madrid cookie jar in the local Salvation Army for $2.99. I went back this week and it was still there! I have two pieces of Oyster and Pearl I've been trying to sell - a 14 inch sandwich plate and a divided relish. No one even looks at them. Most people that stop at my sale ask for: military and sports memorabilia, old fishing equipment, jewelry and gold and silver coins. Yeah, everyone has that laying around the house. On another note, I theorize that unless you can have a tag sale on the first or second weekend of the month, don't bother. By the time the third and last week of the month rolls around, people are starting to run short on money and not looking to blow it at a tag sale. Any opinions on this? Thanks again for all of your compliments! It really is nice to hear! The kitchen is holding up very well. I think a lot of it has to do with the beautiful finish on the cabinets. The cabinet maker "baked" on the paint, I believe. Whatever he did, "it's like butter!" So, when I see a spot, I can easily wipe it off. I love having all six stools, and would recommend getting as many as you can around your island. Everyone hangs out in the kitchen. The rugs are dash and albert and I do like them. However, even with a rug pad, they move around some. It's not a big deal, but be aware of that if you are considering buying them. Also, mine look pretty dirty right now. My understanding is that I can take them outside and hose/scrub them down and they will be as good as new. I haven't done that yet, but plan to very soon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I insulated my garage door myself after I moved in back in the 90's in a effort to help reduced the heat a little bit. The garage is west facing in Phoenix. HD carried 2' x 4' styrofoam sheets that fit perfectly into the door cavities. The end result, I didn't notice much, if any, difference before and after. In fact it probably hurt the night time temps since the heat couldn't get out as easily through the steel door. The average temp in the garage in the summer at 4:30am when I go to work is still around 100℉. Thinking about it now it didn't make much sense to insulate the door since none of the rest of the garage is insulated. But putting in the white sheets made the garage noticeably brighter at night with the lights on so all was not lost. If I had it to do over again I would just paint the inside of the door white. chisue - In my neighborhood probably at probably close to 1 out of 3 homes use the garage for storage and park their cars in the driveway. These are smaller (<1500 ft²), but cheaper houses. It has more to do with the fact that almost none of the houses here have basements to fill up with stuff so they fill up the garage instead. I never really understood this but their are a ton of people that do it.
