3 in 1 Cube of Death- should I do it?
Comments (12)Well, I repotted it. The sundew did amazingly, didn't lose any dew, and was kept sphag free. It has since caught a mosquito and looks happy. The VFT did reasonably well. The cobra lily I might have killed. There were two, to my suprise, and one of them was growing horizontally, being supported by the side of the cube, so I had too stick them in the pot funny. I suspect my best bet is to wait until I get a cube with just CL's so I don't have to mess with the roots. I went back to lowes yesterday and they were unloading ANOTHER shipment of "purple pitcher plants". Well it's not purple, but rather green. I don't know if this is from lack of light, or if it's just mislabled. It's outside in dappled shade out of the cube. I've come to the realization I just can't harden things off. I'd rather look at a scraggly leafless stem than slowly lift the lid off the plant over a week or two. They either thrive or die, but thats how most of my new plant purchases go. :) Bob...See MoreIt's taken 5 months, but I'm almost there!
Comments (14)It's in a pot, has been since I bought it in the spring, so being in the ground isn't the issue. It just never formed a "Y" until really late. Very frustrating! I'll move it in to the garage soon but I'm afraid that's going to be too warm (60's) for it and that it won't overwinter well. If it doesn't work, it doesn't; it's my only option at this point. just sign me, Still waiting.... :)...See Morehave had it for a month and i love it, love it, love it!!
Comments (3)I bought a Roomba 535 model through Home Shopping Network's website. The delivery was FREE, and their price is $249. And they have a 30-day no hassle return policy if you don't like it. Since I was a first time buyer at HSN, I used a coupon that I found on the internet. The coupon code is C56574 - and it's valid for 15% off your entire purchase if you are a first time shopper at HSN.com. I enterd the code at the checkout, and sure enough it worked. HSN also offers a two year warranty BEYOND the manufacturer's warranty (making 3 years of coverage) for about $30. So it's possible to get a new model Roomba for $211 delivered, or under $250 with a 3-year warranty....See Morewell, I did it, ticket is bought
Comments (29)Yeah, I know, 101, 1, and Pacific Coast highway are not the same, LOL, cept for us land locked people. Mel and I will try go get together before long, and plot our way up to Canada. The route back south, along the Pacific Coast is mapped for cyclists via bike maps, and there are a couple of books written on it. I own the book already. I am also working on a new journal on the crazyguyonabike website, and will furnish a link as soon as I make it public. Right now, just the same info as on my first post up there is on it. Thanks to everyone that wrote to me through "my page". I will see about giving you a couple of days notice before I get near you. I am so pumped up about this adventure right now..., after all, I have been waiting for it since 2006. Moni...See Moreehuns27 7a PA
