Need help w/bathroom vanity mirrors, lighting and vanity stool

I posted some pics. a while back of our Master Bath (in our home we purchased last summer) which had a pedestal sink and no storage (so strange!). We searched for a store-bought sink/vanity with no luck and ended up getting one custom made.

So I would not have chosen some of the finishings in this bathoom...Namely a black granite tile detail and chrome fixtures (I like the brushed nickel (not shiny) look). We found a granite remnant we liked and it is tan w/red and black flecks, so it goes pretty well with the travertine, black granite tile detail and some reddish tile detail. Decided to go with a chrome faucet to match all the other chrome fixtures. But now I'm really scratching my head on the mirror and lighting. I'm not sure if we go with a wood framed mirror the same color as the vanity (which there is already a lot of with our bedroom furniture and a custom built-in make up vanity in our bedroom (which replaced one they took out). I thought about a black framed mirror, but am wondering if that will be too "heavy" and I'm not crazy about black. Chrome is an option, but like I said, I'm "tolerating" the chrome. Should I just go a different direction all together and get a unique material? Sometimes I think I make things too matchy matchy. Should I do a frameless mirror? What size should the mirror be? The sink is 45.5" wide. It's 51" from the top of the backsplash to the ceiling. 38" from the top of the backsplash to the existing light fixture.

I'm not crazy about the existing lighting (seems too modern for an otherwise fairly traditional/contemporary bathroom (hope I'm using my terms correctly, I'm no designer!).

I also need a mirror and small stool for the make-up vanity we had custom made and installed to replace the one the old owners removed (negotiated with the sale). Since it is on the way into the bathroom, it seems like it should all be cohesive. The vanity is 35" wide and there is 63.5" from the vanity top to the ceiling. Would appreciate any suggestions there too.

I've included pictures of the shower and bath for reference. The lighting is off in some of the pics., but hopefully you get the idea.

Please help me finish this project off and make it look pretty! :-)
