Sansevieria Playing Mind-Games...

I bought a 'Black Coral' and a 'Whitneyi' about a month ago to complement my few other Sans. A week after receiving my 'Black Coral', I was examining a 'Nelsonii' I have had for quite a long time, and lo and behold a new pup was coming up . . . that so far exactly resembles 'Black Coral'. I know that leaf cuttings from Sans plants usually revert to the sport parent; but first of all this is a spontaneous pup, not a leaf cutting, and secondly, if 'Nelsonii' comes from 'Laurentii', what's coming up certainly isn't 'Laurentii', and doesn't even look like plain ol' S. trifasciata (unless perhaps it's only the youth of the pup that makes it look like 'Black Coral' for the time being). If I have a question, I suppose it's "Does 'Nelsonii' frequently pup sports?"
