Older peony identification help (please)!

These were at our home when we moved here twelve years ago. There were only 2-3 stems/plants, which I weeded around and babied. Late frosts sometimes kills the buds, but I had 20, until our Oklahoma rainstorms turned the blooms into wet brown tissue. The third picture is my only surviving bloom and it's a little brown at the edges. Stems are floppy and scent is almost a carnation smell.

The gentleman who originally planted these peonies moved here in the 70's. I would guess they were planted within ten years of his moving here. Lots of old-fashioned flowers/pass-alongs.
