Yet another slug trap

Marjorie Harris, a Canadian garden writer, writes that "You can trap slugs with horseradish plants - but you'll have to scrape them off the leaves at dawn to get rid of them." She also claims that mustard plants attract them.

Scraping them off at dawn sounds marginally easier than hunting in the dark with a flashlight! Are horseradish plants at all decorative? I'm picturing one in a pot that I can move from garden to garden. And later we can harvest the root......
