Unfortunately, there are too many places that the Canada geese do not leave.

Let's see - we have tourists all year, grill all year, allergies most of the year, few mosquitoes at all, robins all year...

I'll say when the crocuses (probably the wrong way to do the plural - croci?) show their heads.

I've only been in Canada in the Summer. It snowed on us in August. In the Yukon. Whereas some cities are quite temperate. I'm not even going to hazard a guess. Unless it's that the tourists arrive for the Stampede?

The first sign of Spring anywhere from the middle of the San Joaquin Valley to the ends of Orange County, California, used to be Vin Scully's voice on the radio while the neighbor did yard work or washed his car. He's gotten older, however, and doesn't do all the games, most of them are on TV, so the B crew is on radio, and the guys are plugged into their personal devices instead of a radio, anyway. Sigh. I guess this really belongs in the you know you're getting older thread...

I did not know that Canada had robins all year long-so I wrong. So I am going to say when they see their first hummingbird.

I'm on the west coast now on the east coast probably not.

robins coming back are tradition for my part of Canada, tulips daffodils, crocus, pop up, winter coat hat and mitts back in the closet snow shovel too, dandelions pop up, frogs start trilling, oh hockey playoffs start......
