Please help me with my miniature roses :(

Hello,

I am very inexperienced in gardening, and have received a gift of white miniature potted roses. I am not sure what is wrong with them, but I love them dearly and would like to save them (if they are dying)... Here are some pictures:

They look rather good in these two pictures, but only because I've pulled/cut off the wilting baby stems/buds :(... about a handful of them! When I first received them, there were only a few. Now, I'm wondering if that was the right thing to do?

I have since moved the pot outside, and bring it in at night, because I am worried that animals might get to it...

(They are also indoors right now, as there is a predicted thunderstorm with possible hail and strong wind gusts later today in my area.)

There is a light, hairy, grey fuzz that grows on the dead parts of the plant (where I assume it has been pruned before). Should I be worried?

It looks like this:

It grows(?) on the brown parts of the plants:

(I'm sorry it's not visible, my camera refused to focus on it >:( )

There is also a green growth on the top of the soil...

Also, the edges of the flowers and buds have started to turn brown :(

So, these are my questions:

Should I be worried?

Are they dying? What can I do to save them?

Also, how much water should I be giving them, and how often? Should I try to separate them?

Any other care advice/tips are very welcome.

Thank you so much.
