What is the Alt + number sequence for subscript?

I'm okay now with Alt+0176 for superscipt

Using Control+Shift while typing U208x where x is a number I can subscript digits...

I don't know about alpha though. Looks like you can do some characters but I don't know if you can do all characters...

I don't know about using the "Alt+" method, it doesn't work on my Linux.

Too bad we don't still have the use of HTML, then it would be as easy as...

H<sub>2</sub>0

Thank you. I tried that several times in slightly different ways. No such luck with Unicode. I must be tied into the Alt+ method.

bay area guy, I am in agreement with nik! As well as that, I am not sure what kind of pot and soil your plant is in, but make sure it's a well draining pot, and I recommend for soil using one that is specifically designed for Cactus and Succulents. I was able to find some at my local gardening center, but if there isn't one near you, amazon is a dear friend. Overall, your plant looks good and I am sure it will come back! Good luck

Lucky you. I'd clamp a Festool fence to the top and rip it apart dust-free, then tint the Glaxs adhesive to match and pull it back together. Tell him that's what you want done or you've got a guy that will do it for 3K. You're not an hour away.

This looks like a true antique (late 1800s to early 1900s) or a very early 20th-century reproduction still using traditional hand-applied upholstery methods. The style (Victorian balloon-back) aligns well with c. 1860–1890 dining chairs, but it’s possible they were reupholstered later (the green floral fabric looks mid-20th-century, not original).

Does Alt+2082 produce a subscript 2?

Strange, according to this page: http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/2082/index.htm, Alt+2082 should work, but booting into Windows, I can't get it to work. Gives me a double-quote.

Thanks again. I'm continuously doing something wrong expecting a different result - like the proverbial crazy person. Just can't get that one to work for me - Windows just gives me back exactly what I've typed.
