"Amethyst Falls" Wisteria in a pot?

Madeleine W.

Hello!
My mother recently bought me a "Amethyst Falls" wisteria vine to climb on the pergola my husband and I built.

This is all great, but we plan on moving in a year! I wonder if I could plant it in a pot so it would be easier to move when the time comes. I also live in a subdivision so the first foot of earth is nice and loamy before it become rocky and full of clay so I don't even know if it would thrive in that soil. I also don't know how they do being transplanted.
Anyway, I've attached a picture. I'm planning on putting it in the corner it's closest too.
Any advice on keeping it in a pot for a few years?

thanks
