I just bought a Nepenthes Sanguinea! Need Help!
Comments (3)Hello Your Nepenthes looks very healthy don't be worried if the pitchers die off soon just cut the pitchers off not the whole leaf. Cold nights are said to help pitcher growth so either way that temp. is fine. Place the plant on a south facing windowsill it's the best place for this plant if not artificial light is the next option. There should be some humidity but don't worry you don't %80-%100 that's a myth. Water the plant from the top when the soil feels very damp to the touch. Having a shallow water tray to collect the water if fine just don't fill the way half way up the pot. Also you can add some pebbles in the tray and set the pot on the pebbles to raise humidity but not needed. No dormancy is needed, and don't add water to the pitchers or touch them even gently handling can damage them. ~Justin If you have any other questions try http://www.allexperts.com/ep/711-65271/Carnivorous-Plants/Sarracenia-Northwest.htm they're very well knowledge about plants. Comments (5)first do get 2 couches. do not get sectional or a loveseat. first we have to figure your color preferences. black is a neutral, to an extent it tends to be really in your face. and it rarely is going to look cool. so lets see a couple new things i have seen. let me know what you think and what not, i will adjust....See MoreJust bought a contemporary home...help?
Comments (12)Those ideas can easily be put into that space . I like a transitional style it allows for a bit of either style to work together. Have you looked at Big Ass fans I think one would do the trick Make sure the lighting for the DR shines down not up since you need the light at human height for sure. The big deal is you will need more cord that what would normally be on a chandeleir. The ones you show will not work. If you could go a bit out of your comfort zone I would suggest cable lighting in that house to get light where you need it all over.If you notice in this pic the lighting is actually installed below the beams at a more useable height...See MoreJust bought a home! Comments (11)Congratulations! Beautiful home. Yes, I’d get a much bigger rug and turn it the other way, as well as bringing the seating area closer to the TV and fireplace. I don’t know what size, you’ll just need to measure to see once you get your furniture. Or tape some sizes on the floor with painters tape for an idea. It’s hard to suggest specific furniture without knowing your budget, decorating style(s), what existing furniture you’ll be using, size of family/your entertaining style, etc. I wouldn’t do the same arrangement as they did above. For me, I’d want a sofa, loveseat, and two chairs, or, a sectional and one or two chairs. I like your idea of the chairs in front of the window. ~~~~~~~ This reminds me of your room. Not suggesting any of this furniture, etc .... just saw it on another website and couldn’t believe how exact the ceiling design and color is!...See Morefreethinker99
