KraftMaid Cabinets vs Wolf Cabinets
Comments (5)Not sure if you read this past post on Wolf quality but the opinions mostly say the quality is not that great. I have had my oak KM cabinets for 20+ years and actually just completed a redo and kept them and they still look great. Haven't had one problem with drawer glides etc. and do remember they were about $3600 back then. :) My advise would be to go with KM and get the best level you can stretch to and you will have them for many years. Here is a link that might be useful: Wolf cabinet experiences...See MoreKraftmaid (HD) vs. Cliq Studios - kitchen cabinets
Comments (14)Made in China? Google Cliqstudios manufacture "Indiana" Warehouse? Sure looks to me made from scratch. Be careful on big box stores. Most of the cabinets for plywood box is a up charge 20%. Make sure the face is a hardwood. I did my masterbath 10 years ago from lowes. They looked great but cheap as hell (Cost was not cheap) Got sucked in with the dove tail drawers also bought two linen cabinets. SHOCKING vinyl contact paper fake wood grain on the outsides of linens. Also when screwing them together the screw went right through, split the inter frame "Pine" Total junk! However they don't sell this brand anymore but something tells me they were exclusively made for lowes? Also google Kraftmade reviews something must be going on over there, More for less?...See MoreHomecrest Cabinets vs Waypoint Cabinets, Any Advice Please??
Comments (6)I chose Homecrest, a little upgraded (the doors and drawers I think so they are soft close). They have worked out quite well and we get lots of compliments on the design. So far have also held up nicely!...See MoreOmega vs. Decora vs. KraftMaid cabinets build quality
Comments (1)NEVER buy Kraftmaid. I bought $13k worth of cabinetry and 100% of my order was damaged and they are refusing to replace and/or reimburse me for the cabinets. The cabinets have paint splotches, uneven paint job, cracked joints, and various other defects. All of which they say are 'standard wear and tear (wear and tear on DAY 1???) On top of all of that, their customer services sucks! Going back and forth with Lowes/Kraftmaid for the last 6 months and I was told today by Lowes that if I wanted a better paint job I should have purchased the cheaper MDF line! How does that make sense???? I plan to put this review up anywhere on the internet I can find asking for a review of Kraftmaid so others do not make the same mistake I did! DO NOT BUY KRAFTMAID FROM LOWES!!...See MoreThe Kitchen Place
