First time hydro grower, diagnosis help

MD L

First time hydroponics grower here. After only 2.5 weeks
under the HID, I have some questions about my plants, deficiencies, etc. I know
you really have to learn from experience about deficiencies, so I was wondering
if anyone could point me in the right direction.

For starters, I’m using an ebb and flow system from a 55
gallon drum to ten 2 gallon buckets with various vegetables which are about 3.5
feet from the light, which is a 600W HPS hortilux. I’m using GH Maxi Series for
nutrients (all MaxiGro at this point). I have two air stones in the drum, and my medium is hydroton.

PH has been stable at 6.2, and tds initially was around 1400ppm.
However, I diluted it a bit this morning to drop it back down to 1250.

Now the issues. (note pictures below)

You’ll see the burns on the cucumber leaves
(which is why I raised my light up to 3.5 feet, being paranoid). I’m not yet
sure if that’s what the issue was, but it’s the only plant with that problem it
looks like.

You also can see the mg deficiency (I think) on
the squash, which I did foliar spray of Epsom the other day and already is
looking better (I did not add to the nute solution in the drum though). I see the deeper green color starting to branch out.

The zucchini has some yellow spots around the
edges. Unsure of the issue. Sprayed Epsom thinking the mg, but haven’t
noticed much difference in 2 days.

My Brussel sprout here seems locked out. It may
be hard to tell from the picture, but the leaves are pale and curled upwards
like a spoon, and there has been little to no recent growth.

And my jalapeno plant is growing very weirdly,
with weird shaped leaves and missing portions of them. Other plants seem to be fine (tomato, bell peppers, strawberries, carrots).

For full disclosure, some problems I had gone through:

-I started the water/nute fill at 3 times a day when I began
2.5 weeks ago, but noticed drooping and switched to 2 times, which seems to
have made a difference.

-When I swapped out my nutrient solution after 2 weeks and
added a new one, I grabbed the ph down bottle instead of ph up after adding
nutrients by mistake, so I’ve had to add a good amount of ph up to get it back
on track. I’m not sure if this has any negative side effects, but I noticed
fast and fixed it before ever filling the buckets.

My main questions…What can I do about the Brussel sprout
plant and the jalapeno? I know I’ve probably made the mistake of too many
different kinds of veggies in the same system…but is there any salvaging the brussels?

Thanks for the help, I look forward to being part of this
forum community and learning.
