HAVE: Rose of Sharon for Poincirus Trifolate, others

I'm looking for plants to fill in a small space around our new deck. I have lots of small and medium-size Rose of Sharon seedlings. Some will have white blooms, some purple. Impossible to tell at this point! I would like to trade for:

Poincirus Trifolate (hardy orange)
Hostas--any
Shasta daisy (especially "crazy daisies"
Montauk daisy or other chrysanthemums
Azaleas
Crocus seeds
Dianthus

I'm also open to other swaps--let me know what you have in mind. : )

Jewelgirl04 I got your email and replied. I would love to trade. I have plenty more if anybody else out there would like some. They are realated to the Hibiscus so they have very large flowers when they bloom. They are seed and spread like crazy. These are extremely easy to make hedges with. :P David

I have several Rose of Sharon babies of varying size and color to trade for monarda and/or other pretty flowering plants that attract butterflies. The Rose of Sharon come in pink, purple and white, but unless they've flowered this year I won't know for sure which color they are. If you want a particular color I would choose from nearest the adult plants of that color and hope for the best. :) I'm in upstate New York, zone 5-6.

Hi ggwrn, In my opinion Rose of Sharon seldom come true from seed. I have a seedling that bloomed a solid white, yet there is no other solid white one on the property or even close by. I do have other colors though. The seeds are still maturing, but I would be glad to send you some for postage later, if you don't find a trade. Sue not the best pic...bloom was fading...
