I'm finally starting to see tiny flower buds among my roses. As with last year, 'Marie Pavie' seems to be winning the race for the first to bloom. I spend a little time every morning pulling weed seedlings, and keep thinking "maybe I should take some pictures" but I think they might be boring right now. The only stuff blooming are the bulbs I put in last year, and they really need another year or two to spread and fill in before they're pic-worthy. But it looks like it's only a couple more weeks before things get going here.
sara_ann, you're torturing me, but don't stop. At least someone has beautiful roses. Mme. Ernest Calvat is so big and luscious looking, but they're all gorgeous.
Thank you so much Ingrid. I would totally agree with you on MEC, I'm totally in love with it. It is a very attractive rose, I love the color and it has a wonderful fragrance. and it seems to last for days on the bush. I always enjoy your beautiful roses and hope you have more soon.
