I don't think it's a styrax. Styrax flowers hang down from the branches, beneath the leaves. Also, styrax leaves are alternate, not opposite, and have a distinctive acuminate apex. I think it's an Amur honeysuckle, lonicera maackii, not a native :(.

I looked it up, and I think you are right. Yikes, its listed as invasive here in Tennessee! No wonder I'm seeing it everywhere.

I really wanted it to be a snowbell, they're so pretty :). I'm not positive on the honeysuckle ID -maybe someone else will chime in to confirm, or you can cross-post on the Name That Plant forum.
