Clematis Florida Sieboldii

Dear garden experts, please let me know if you have any luck growing this specific clematis Florida Sieboldii in zone 6a Pennsylvania. I have several other clematis in my garden of different types. Last year I ordered 2 Florida Sieboldii from Donahue Clematis and received 2 very tine ones. Garden Crossings supposedly had a bit larger size last year. I planted them in peat moss, fresh soil and dehydrated cow manure like I do all my other clematis. It bloomed for a while as you see below but both of them did not survive this past winter. They supposed to be hardy to zone 6. Do you grow little ones in the container first and then put them outside next year to get bigger roots. And do you know of any other seller who do sell larger size? I researched the web and can't find any they do. Here are some of my other favorite ones in my garden. Thank you for your time to reply back to me. :-)
