Comments (10)Given the colors in your room, I'd go with lighter natural woven wood shades. As for the rug, it should cover most, but not all of the floor area. Measure the space. So if, let's say, your room is 12' x 15', I'd go for a rug that's 9' x 12' so there's at least a foot to a foot & a half of hardwood floor showing on all sides....See MoreNeed help with bedroom rug size...
Comments (4)Atleast you are not using a rug with any pattern since IMO a pttered rug hidden 75% by a bed is not a great idea. I think for your space I would go large enough for the night tables to sit on the rug . I am not sure what you mean by the wall so maybe explain that . I rarely use full rugs in bedrooms I do like rugs on either side of the bed for feet in the morning but I guess I would so go bigger if you are doing a rug...See MoreNeed help with bedroom furniture placement
Comments (5)If you put two twin beds and a desk in that room it's going to be a tight fit. Unless your sons are short you are going to want to get extra long twins. Does the measurement of the room not include the closet? Normally you would put the head of the beds on the far right wall so they're not visible from the door. I would put a bedside table between them. Try the desk on the opposite wall. It depends on how large a desk is required. If you can get by with one that is only 24" deep that would be easier to fit than a larger one. Also look to see if you can find a daybed/trundle arrangment with extra long twins. I don't know if they're made that way or not. Bunk beds don't seem appropriate for grown people....See MoreRelated Professionals
