I'd say cozy and warm. The normal guests in that room. They'd probably love cozy and warm. The bright light of the mornings I guess. I'm really open to anything. I'd love to know how others would vision the room. Dill pickle was suggested but that seems a little too extreme no matter what time of day, at least for me.

With the green bedding and the wrought iron bed frames and that great lampshade, I'd paint it a medium-depth tan, something like Whole Wheat. Again, suggesting SW because the paint is on sale right now, 40% off. Also very masculine, so good for boys.

You didn't ask, but I'd also add some big art work. The other idea is that I've been obsessed with putting a drum shade over the fan lights in my house, like this, or add light cages.

I'm still finalizing the paint colors but if anyone has any ideas for artwork to go over the beds, I would greatly appreciate it! I was hoping for something that "subtly" lends itself to the beach or ocean. And because I have twin beds in there for when the nephews visit, not sure if I have to put something over each bed or is there something out there that will look good over the two beds together? I really appreciate everyone's suggestions and help!

I've printed favorite photos (or would also work with maps) on engineering prints. They are dirt cheap, like 2.00 for a 18x24, 4.00 for 24x36. You just upload a photo on the Staples web site and pick it up a day later.
