Bug Zapper light to help control hawk moths from laying eggs?

Hiker Girl

I've recently moved to San Antonio TX and am currently dealing with caterpillars of several varieties. I've already ordered some bacillus thuringiensis spray, I'm unable to keep my diatomaceous earth dry long enough to be effective right now thi rain every other day. Hopefully this works for me!

While researching preventative actions I had a thought about getting one or two insect zapper lights to install in my yard to keep the moths from laying their eggs on my tomatos in the first place.

Have any of you tried this? Do you think it is even worth trying?
