I bought an aurora water lily.....question

Yes, I did a stupid thing again.......I bought an aurora water lily from Menards. But it was under $10.00 so I was willing to take the chance. It had some good growth on it.

Last year, a lily I bought from there didn't even grow........but that was totally my fault for buying it later in the season with no sign of life. (The company told me on the phone that it was just dormant. Yes, it was dormant.......permanently)

Anyhow........I have several stock tanks and/or preform smaller ponds. I'm thinking of putting this one in the 50 gallon small preform I have. I'm wondering if that will be big enough for it? I also (from William Tricker) bought a pygmy tropical lily that I'm going to put into a 100 gallon stock tank. Any ideas if the aurora will need a bigger space?

Thanks!
