There is a free software to download scanned pics of house then you can "paint" to see if you like it? They have several major paint supplers in the paint database. Takes some time but really works.

busybee3, the problem with the khaki brown is that the color changes depending on the light. It can be a beautiful beige brown or it can be a pinky, washed out mess. The shutters are going to be changed to black board and batten shutters to match the carriage door look of the garage doors. My light fixtures are a similar style in black. les917, I would agree to make the bays beige but I'm afraid it will make the house too dark if I paint it the darker color. I'm also a little afraid of putting black shutter on the darker color. I was doing it on the khaki brown to try and bring some weight to the siding color but I am afraid it might be too severe with the darker siding. bluebird, that is definitely a version of my house. I actually just redid my walkway to resemble your walkway.

The color of my house is just a little lighter than yours. So that it would not look bland, I used a beautiful blue from Behr Marquee called Superior blue. Here is a photo of my house (I also used red for my doors):The blue trim and the red doors help to keep my house from looking boring and bland! I suggest going bolder with the trim color, something that will compliment the color of your house, roof, door color, and anything else you have on your house. My colors were chosen so that they would work well with the stone on the front of my house, roof color, and the red brick on my chimney.

Hello all - so we have a couple weeks to finalize the paint color and I am really leaning towards SW Naval on the siding & Colonnade Gray on garage door. Naval is a bit lighter than the original navy I posted earlier (Anchors Aweigh). As mentioned the shutters are less than a year old and we don’t want to paint them. The dark navy should hopefully tie in pretty well with the shutters. If they don’t we can always paint the shutters later. The front door has been ordered and will be painted the same as siding. Thoughts?
