Kalanchoe 'Pink Sparkler'

I grow many Kalanchoe, but find K. 'Pink Sparkler' difficult to grow and/or understand. It is interesting because it develops pink bulbils on its leaf margins which are generally deficient in chlorophyll and may grow (free of the parent plant)

but generally die after a while. Randy Story has had success in growing the bulbils; I had tried to grow them, but they were usually heavily albino and died for me. Randy sent me a number of his little plants and the photo shows one of them with a couple of pink bulbils. Yale
