Seed Saving tomatoes grown close together

I plant multiple varieties in the same bed. I garden in a community plot, so I don't have a lot of space options. I'd like to save seed from a few varieties, particularly one that I love that is from 2011. I tried a 2014 version of that variety from the same seed company last year and felt it had lost some size and strength from my reliable original pack, which had grown true the three seasons prior.

Is seed saving possible under these conditions? Would I have to bag blossoms? I've never actually saved seed before.

Thanks in advance.
