Question about Picasa

I've been using Picasa for probably 10 years or more and never had any problems. I like it because it's simple and easy. A few years ago this problem started when I cropped a picture. I would crop the picture and instead of it showing me a full size cropped picture like it used to do it shows a little small picture. I don't know why it's doing this but I deleted and uploaded another version and it does the same thing. I tried pic monkey and it does the same. Photobucket crops the picture like its supposed to but it takes too long to use. I've tried every size that is listed in the little drop down box in Picasa and it still does the same. Anyone have a clue what I can be doing wrong?

I don't see any way to delete this or I would. I solved my problem.

it could be helpful to others if you explained the "fix."

I'm sure there will be a few of us there who can offer tips - I use it somewhat, and I believe Skybird uses it quite a bit. So there's at least two of us!

Picasa isn't a destination... it doesn't store pictures. It just displays what it finds on your computer (i.e. in My Pictures, etc). So can you import them to your My pictures folder? Google the error----> AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED WHILE ATTEMPTING TO IMPORT. EITHER THE SOURCE IS UNAVAILABLE OR THE DESTINATION IS FULL OR READ ONLY.

What exactly do you mean by "put all my pictures into documents from Picassa"? Picassa doesn't "store" pictures, it simply references the pictures existing on your hard drive. You can move them around using Windows explorer and when you open Picassa it will reference them in their new location. Any editing is non-destructive as well. Or are we talking about an online album?

Yes but then the pictures are fuzzy. With all other pictures you can crop before exporting. You crop and the photo will remain almost the same size and fill up the picasa screen. When I crop one taken in sports mode it imediately goes to a real small picture.

I read online of another person who had the same problem and they set their camera back to default and so I tried it and yes it did work.
