Just to be sure I have exactly the right color, today I had a sample made at SW of Resto's Sea Green at 50%. It is a smidge darker and a tad more vibrant than the 50% Raindance. Ladies and gentlemen, I think we have a winner!!!!! I have been trying to find the perfect muted blue green for almost A YEAR, and I think this may be it!!!!! I so hope this works when the whole room is painted, but it looks gorgeous so far! Kpaquette---your room supports my theory that a ton of white really sets off this color so well. Your room looks just like the real Restoration Hardware walls. People say Gray Wisp is a 100% match to Silver Sage, but Colorcharts says it's like 95.7% or something like that. I think Silver Sage has a little more yellow and gray in it. The BM colors have more of an aqua vibe, which looks much better in lower light conditions. Any recommendations for a ceiling color? Should I go with Sea Green at 25%? Just use Silver Sage? Or could I go with something bluer for a little contrast like BM Quiet Moments?

Fabulous home!!! I would use a white that skews in the direction of your brick grout. If the mortar is gray, go with a slightly grayed white. If it is white, try to match that. Put a few samples on the wall and you'll see.......the white that has undertones of the mortar or is a shade or two lighter will make the brick look even better than it already does.

I think there is enough difference between the two colors--they are clearly different on my monitor, anyway. Finish the kitchen, get the doors on. There'll be a lot more of the cabinet color once the doors are on, and that will make the color difference more apparent. I'm sure when everything is put together you will find it looks fine.

I was just exaggerating a point and trying to be funny at the same time. I live in the deep south where until recently the norm was any wall color and semi-gloss or high-gloss white trim. And I mean WHITE, not White Dove, Linen White, etc. We just had the Parade of Homes in our city with 60+ homes being showcased and not a single one followed that color scheme. It's all pale colors, off whites, with similar trim colors. I do like it, but pairing the "near neutrals" can be a little overwhelming for the non-professional. One of my favorite rooms in my home has Pale Avocado walls, Woodlawn Blue ceiling and bright white trim. I never get tired of it. I just wanted to break out of my comfort zone and step into the world of neutrals in my bathroom. It's been quite a learning experience. The paint stores love the amount of $$$ I'm spending on paint samples! Thanks for your perspective.
