Custom Bathroom Cabinet Prices
Comments (3)I only got one quote for a custom vanity, 54" wide, paint-grade, and it was about $650 from someone with no reputation. Your job sounds very custom, so it doesn't seem like a crazy price if this is someone you know does good work....See MorePricing custom-built metal spiral staircases?
Comments (1)The shop is going to order one of the kits anyhow, and chrge you for the shipping, hand, and instilation. If they custom build you one, it is even more costly because the price of iron alone now a days is outragious. Plus trust me there is alot of time(labor) involved with custom building a spiral staircase. If you are able to install it yourself. This is the route that I would recomend. Atleast you cut out the middle man and save a little in labor. Farmer...See MoreCustom Vanity Expected pricing
Comments (14)Contributory to what I think is going to happen is that it is a sort of complex vanity for something that looks so simple. The exterior depth is 18" max. Two of the drawers are full extension and they will pull out just missing the top of the toilet seat. The lowest drawer will be very "flat" front to back and pull out only until it hits contacts the bowl of the toilet. The niche is only partial depth. It has to fit into a niche wall to wall. I will luck out in the other bathroom, I think I can have a face frame and doors made, and I don't really need a cabinet. It's already in a three-wall alcove and it's small enough that it won't have drawers....See MoreHoly Cow! Vanity price quote came in for Strasser
Comments (81)Well, I never think wood floors are a good choice for a bathroom, so I'd go with tile. However, my own prejudice is that woodgrain tile is something that will look dated in 10 to 15 years. Many people love it, but it seems overly popular, and there are a lot of other fads that looked terrific at the time that now are also dated. I keep a file of decorating ideas, and sometimes I'm shocked at what I thought looked really great 10 years ago. My own -- admittedly biased, curmudgeonly, and opinionated -- view is that something that looks like wood should be made out of wood, something that is made out of tile should look like tile, and something that is made out of Formica shouldn't look like denim. However, you should do whatever makes you happy. I'm just suggesting that choosing a tile that is clean and classic, and that doesn't necessarily match the wood floor, is worth considering....See Morehomepro01
