Are you guys uploading photos from your computer, or from a third party host like photobucket? Maybe that's the problem...also, I don't see a "submit" button...my photo page offers "open" or "close" and then I can hit "post" , but no "submit"....I have an H. skinneriana that's going to bloom any minute and I'd really really like to post a picture when it does...grrrrr....

Go to comment section, click photo, submit button is way down. I loaded from my computer.

I guess I need help from a higher authority (hello, god?)--when I click "photo" and then hit "submit" I get a message that says "unable to add comment, please re-load this page and try again"....But thanks for trying to help :) I appreciate it...

On the main page it will say start a conversation. ..click it. Than type in your subject which must be 15 or more letters...than type in the body of your message than click next...here you must choose at least one place for your thread to goto. I scrolled down and found kitchen table and clicked it..than I clicked post. ..do not assume that just brcause your at the KT when you start your thread that it will show up here...it won't unless you choose the KT.

Hm, not sure why you're having trouble. Let me try.
I just hit the "photo" button and it brought up my albums, chose the pic and "ok" and it appeared. Now I will submit...

Yes, it appears in my photo album as being selected...I don't have an "okay" or "submit" button in my albums though, just an "open" or "close"...when I hit "open" a rotating green ring appears in the comments section--as if it's trying to pull up the photo, but can't...I even tried copying and pasting, but just got more rotating green rings...very frustrating...I had no trouble with photos in the earlier forum--just problems now that we're hosted by Houzz...sigh...

I will give it a try. I am using a desktop computer with Windows 7 and running Google Chrome for my browser. Here is what the forum looks like:

To get this screen shot from my desktop I just clicked on the Photo icon above and selected the .jpg file that was the captured image of the screen. Now I will add a Hoya picture from my desktop by clicking on the Photo icon again

There was a green circle indicating downloading then the above picture showed up...my first Hoya bloom appears to be on the way from a wild and thirsty plant called Hoya Cummingiana 'Little Leaf Bush Hoya' bought on eBay Apr-19-14 that loves sun in a south window.

i'm going to see if I can find someone in my office to help me out here...meanwhile all the Hoyas posted as examples are gorgeous...be sure to post as soon as the cummingiana blooms...I love their flowers...

Could it be that your files are too large? The old GW had a limit on file size, I think 80 kb, so I've always made it a point to resize my photos to under that.

It seems the problem may be the server here at work...I'm going to try sending photos from my home laptop...bet that will work...again--thanks so much for the suggestions...My H. skinneriana opened 4 blooms in the cluster last night, so hopefully by tomorrow it will be fully open and I can post a picture :)

I did exactly what "bouldergrower" shows above. Click that word "photo" and it brings you to your album or wherever you have your pictures save up.
