I love that chair! I have one similar (style wise) that needs a new seat cushion and reupholstered. I figure it'll never get done 'cause I'll never find fabric I like... the problem I have with a fabric like that (even tho I love it) is that here it'd be too hard to spot a 'scorpie' on it. not that I've ever seen / had one inside here. I've only ever seen 1 outside here. I did have one inside the first yr I moved to AZ - that was in the south phx/tempe area.

Yes you need the ground to slope away from the foundation. But beyond that, You may need to install a perimeter French drain outside around the foundation. Sometimes that’s not even enough though. We ended up installing a perimeter drain with a sump pump inside as well.

Yeah I've talked to George. He recommends some pole bean types. I haven't had much luck with pole beans. I think you recommended some Hungarian variety last year. which I was able to get from ebay but they failed probably because of weather conditiions. My success with Dwarf H last year was probably just the luck of the draw. I usually plant beans around early to mid May , well after any late frosts here. Okie HU
