Hi Jeff, Welcome If you have a vacuum leak you might check the vacuum/fuel pump tester - as other have said, it is likely to be a crankcase pressure based fuel pump. If you don't get a good pulsing vacuum check your breather/reed valve. If you do have a tester, run the engine till it dies and then check the output side of the fuel pump to see if it has pressure. Also examine the tank for debris. Does it have a manual choke? If so does choking it help, or does it completely die? Next thing I would do is put a neon ignition tester and see if you are losing spark once it dies. You could have a bad ignition module or wiring issue that is temperature related. Best of luck.

citivas, It would be interesting to see what standard start up service is provided from the PB's on this forum. I provide pool net, brush, test kit and 3lbs of tabs. (Manual vac is a waste because every pool has a cleaner. IMO) I turn the pool over to my customer after I've balanced the chemistry and provided an hour of instruction. This is minimum. I provide salt if it's a salt generator and any first cartridges for mineral systems included. I try to operate under the assumption that no customer can ask a stupid question. Some customers need more hand holding than others. I have less warranty calls from the customers I educate the best. I keep water chemistry records from intial fill and start up to the day it's turned over to the customer. This is minimum, minimum. If it takes 2 weeks to do the punch list and gave walk thru instructions, I might use 9lbs of tabs. That is just part of being in business.

Snowbird from Burpee's description grows to 18" which is shorter than most dwarf peas (any var. which grows up to 3' is called dwarf to distinguish them from talls like Alderman and Sugar Snap which reach 6' or more), so at this point I'd lean toward your shorter pea plants as being the Snowbirds.

I spread some compost where i saw bareing spots. Initially weeds shot up where ever the compost was. I did nothing and they eventually lessened. I want to see how much thicker grass will do. Walking through the yard the other day i got dismayed at how much better it looked last year when i bought it. Granted, the grass is starting to green, but not yet grow. I did put down some alfalfa pellets a few weeks back on one of the Federal holidays. I think i read somewhere that it may take a season or two when you switch to organic for really good effects. True? it just rained. I wouldn't call it a downpour by any means; about 0.3" in last hour and change. These are the pics. Do i have an issue? i plan (still) to Logan Labs my soil soon. I also plan to do a jar test, but in all ignorance, I'm not sure what it tests or tells me.
