Y'all are just too nice I tell ya....no I am not so technically challenged that I cant post pics, finding the time is the problem. I am going to work on a web site this year for sure, I have a paid year of one-to-one Mac and I am going to do it...lol... In SE Michigan we are zone 6 for perennials and z 5b for woodies, depending on how far you are from L Erie and St Clair etc........I can grow most z 6 plants here. The main thing is to take advantage of your microclimates and try new things. I am loving growing hydrangeas that are z 6 plants, with a little protection they thrive and they are SO cool...I have a Cedrus deodora 'Karl Fuchs' in my garden, that species is usually listed as z7 though that cv is clearly hardier, it is 20' tall and magnificent

Oh yeah, welcome back Les! Do you have one of those grabber thingies? They sure can come in handy. Pick up stuff without leaning over, get stuff down from top shelf without climbing a ladder. Recommend you get one.

hi everyone! i almost scrolled right by this warm welcome back! thanks lydia for seeing me and to everyone else for the kind posts. things are about the same with me and my condition. no chance of getting out of my "chariot" so i just deal with it......life could be worse. my rearend still rebels from sitting all day so only get spurts of computer time. my move back to my home was the best decision i could have made although i employ two very lazy caregivers and need to make some serious changes! i could write a book...... july has been crazy with my kids and grandkids coming and going. anywhere from 2 to 12 extra every day except for a week. loved every minute..well, almost every minute except for the ones when i'm glad i didn't have to be the patient parent.lol. thanks again for finding me and bringing back good memories of good cyber friends. i'll try to be here more often. julie
